The “Public Hotel” (former “Ambassador East Hotel”) located in downtown Chicago has been revamped by the co-founder of Studio 54 Ian Schrager, into a concept of a luxurious yet affordable hotel.
The fitness room located on the upper floors features a breathtaking view of the Chicago skyline. Its upscale restaurant Pump Room has served celebrities through the ages from the Queens of England to Richard Pryor.
Note: if you do consider a stay be aware,.. the beds are low (european low,…so don’t complain afterwards ;-)
