Hotel La Banane on the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy is pure vintage luxury. Hotel owners Jean Marc Israël and Benjamin Fabbri have a passion for highly-collectable furniture from the 1950s. The white bungalows and wooden terraces are livened up with vibrant splashes of color such as raspberry red and canary yellow, providing a colourful backdrop to showcase their impressive collection. Many of the furnishings were designed by famed Swiss architect Pierre Jeanneret for the administrative buildings of Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab, a planned city by Jeanneret’s cousin Le Corbusier.
