The “QT” design hotel in Sydney, Australia with its 200 guestrooms occupies the building above the State Theatre and the old Gowings department store. Playful, stylish but eminently comfortable interiors incorporate many of the buildings original features like a century old urinal in the men’s loo! spaQ continues the retro theme with 1930s tiled walls and original windows (treatment rooms 5 and 6 occupy the old Gowings barber shop).
