A ‘whitepod’ is a chic, space-age structure designed to blend with the pristine snowy majesty of the Swiss Alps. Perched at an altitude of 1400m, the camp is only accessible by ski or snowshoe – and the occasional dog sled.

The insulated igloo-shaped pods use no electricity – they are heated with a wood-burning stove and lit by the soft glow of oil lamps; there’s no need to emerge from the comfort of your organic bedding unless you’re tempted by the private ski run. It’s hi-tech, ecofriendly and designer cool.

The Juvet Hotel in the identically named town in north-west Norway, in one of seven minimalist buildings made of pine and glass and designed by Oslo-based firm Jensen & Skodvin.

For this dream home with spectacular views over LA, Principal Designer of Dennis Design Group, Lori Dennis wanted to create a seamless indoor/outdoor living space that was both masculine and feminine in style.

Custom furniture and fabrics throughout the home were created by Dennis Design Group and are eco-friendly, organic, built from FSC certified woods and non-petroleum product cushions.

Built in 1905 the Villa Honegg, in Ennetbürgen, Lake Lucerne, Central Switzerland.

For its size, it is unique in Switzerland in terms of what it offers. As a haven of peace and privacy, it enjoys an incomparable setting and breathtaking views!
